So for the past few weekends i've been trekking though miles and miles of forest looking for these bomb storage buildings, OS maps show at least 13 massive concrete huts well hidden in the woods.

There is not much info on the net at all

I've managed to find some old concrete lookout bunkers, which lead me to believe im in the right area, but alas, no luck with the buildings.

The area is located just outside of Olney, Buckinghamshire, towards Yardley Hastings.

Yardley Chase contains some large concrete huts, about 12 metres (39 ft) long, and about 6-8m (20–25 feet) wide, which were used during World War II to store bombs. They continued in use after the war, until the 1970s when the Ministry of Defence shut them down when it became obvious that they would be useless in a nuclear war. The site was served by a branch of the Northampton-Bedford railway line and evidence of revetted tracks are still visible around the site which is only a few miles east of the former depot of the Northamptonshire Regiment and later Royal Pioneer Corps at Simpson Barracks in Wootton. The site also has numerous small bunkers within it and is criss-crossed by barbed wire fences once past the main perimeter. It has several tracks that lead to the various bunkers and fair amounts of military debris (mainly used pyrotechnics) scattered around it.

Any help / info would be greatly appreciated! - I've noticed theres no reports of it at all on here!

Very interesting, I have no info, but hope you find them!

Although, can't you just drive along the road at the bottom, park up and walk up the tree break, past the circle bit and straight on? You would walk straight to it!

could do, but its owned by the forest commission,so its all private estate, and theyre not the nicest of people, plus all the cadets do their training there with live ammo.... may be being paranoid, but dont fancy getting shot at lol

im not giving up hope though, my pals downloaded an OS app for his phone that should hopefully get us there!

either way il keep people updated 'cos this place looks immense! :)

I'm surprised you couldn't find any of the buildings?!

I've looked at this place in the past, coming in from the Olney side, trip over the buildings as you come in. Haven't done the other side as its more active.
