My first post for a couple of months! I've been working away, but as soon as i saw this place, I just had to re-don my headlamp!

This was also my first solo explore! can't say i got a taste for it! extremely creepy!

This is located within a working shipyard, and security is extremely active, especially the little Hitler at the main gate! (i won't go into it here)

The building itself was used to build large sections of very large ships, before being welded together (like a large airfix kit) in other locations. This was up untill 2006. More recently, it had been used by some sort of French art/carnival float builders. Well from what i can gather anyway! lots of French sign's and belongings, oh and the poster below! I dont have much more to add about this building, other than to add that it is VAST!!!

Apologies for the poor image's, like i said earlier, I'm working away, so only had basic kit, ie a bloody camera phone! I'd love to return one day soon complete with my normal ue set up!

    The view from the road:

And around the back: (for scale, the blue door is the size of a double garage!)

    The foundations:

    More underground stuff:

The "vast-ness" of the inside was staggering:

    I couldn't find Brian:

The cranes are so high, they had escalators to get up!

    The office corridors:

Its always fun scaring yourself to death when you turn around and "see someone"!!!!!

    My UE motto:

    Enquires and Pay station:

The cheese eating surrender monkeys have been here!!!

Always follow the lifting gear code!!!

    And thats it!

I will be back. This place deserves a proper explore to take some proper pics!
