As Down Fallen was in Birmingham it would have been rude not to show him some of the sights the city has to offer. After meeting up and a chat we decide to try one of the many apartment blocks going up in the city centre.

Next was onto the Custard Factory, not having been down there for a while now i was suprised to see how far the building work had advanced, roofs stripped and the tower how completely empty. Luckily more scaffold had gone up allowing us to cross over to the active side of the complex.

A quick hop in the car and we were at the GEC chimney, to be honest it didn't meet up to my expectations, probably due to it being so cold and windy up there and me imagining that the view would be better than it was.

Finally onto the big kahuna, Snowhill block1 the first of a set of mixed use developments helping birmingham reach for the sky. Block one being one of the smaller of the four buildings, as Down Fallen mentioned due to the credit crunch the 43storey apartment block and 23storey hotel have been put on hold.
