This was my first explore here so thanks guys for showing me around.

Unfortunately most of the good graffiti has been smashed up so I only got to see one very good piece! (Yes I love good graff!)

    A bit of history:

Bradgate park nursing home was a 60 bed long stay home which cost £310 per week for each resident, the larger part of the building housed eldery people. The smaller part of the building towards the back was a mental health unit for very young patients suffering chronic conditions.

Other services this nursing home catered for were:

    Alcohol and/or Substance Misuse
    Alzheimers and/or Dementia
    Dental Services
    Disabled Facilities
    Elderly Mentally Ill
    Elderly Physically Disabled
    Hearing Impairment
    Occupational Therapy
    Optician Services

(Info borrowed from a website - can't quote the page as it gives out too much info).

Both of these buildings have been extremely trashed! The basement in the smaller room (formerly a laundry room) has been completely burned out at one stage; there were also a lot of other signs that people have been trying to set fire to this building.

While we were all in there we were joined by some teenagers, they got their lighters out and were trying to set fire to parts of the building! We told them to stop and promptly left! I struggled to see what the point was of trying to set fire to a building they were currently standing in.
