Was out in bradford having a poke around bradford beck and thought i'd have a look at this as it seems a while since anything was posted. The building itself is pretty gutted now and the wooden connecting structures between the two buildings have seen better days - however if you fall through theres some chicken mesh underneath the bottom storey! As with most things in bradford the regeneration has ground to a halt and there isnt much to see except abit of graffiti and lots of used needles. If your out shopping it could kill an hour and its fun watching the world go by from the roof as people oblivious to you go about there day.

Built in the heart of Bradford in 1871, Midland Mills was the home to British Mohair Suppliers until around 2001.
Mohair is a soft silk like fabric made from yarn from the Angora Goat. The building has two towers one of which has a weather vain with an iconic white Goat.

The mill is a grade II listed building and there are plans in place for a £35m redevelopment turning the site into 304 apartments and office space.

this is how the old girl looks now............

I can see that place burning to the ground in the end.

I wish someone had done it before conversion began, only ever had one occupant from construction so it might have been very good indeed.
