Myself and JMN drew up a list for our day out. We set off at 5am and headed up north for our first visit of the day which proved unsuccessful much to our disappointment as this was our second attempt to gain access.

We then decided to head back south and visit Calcott Hall which is quite an eerie place due to the family history left inside that time has forgotten. The house is pretty trashed the ceilings and floors have many holes exposing it to all the elements which is speeding up its deterioration. It's difficult to find any real history about the Hall or the family other than it's a grade 2 listed building that has been put on the market a couple of times with no real interest.

When we arrived we was greeted by a real scruffy ginger cat and some livestock that appears to be kept there by a local farmer who i believe gets really upset with visitors like us. I guess this situation is not helped by previous visitors that seem to have enjoyed smashing the 2 cars. The timing of our departure was impeccable as the farmer was just turning into the entrance as we left.

Anyway I think I have waffled on long enough. Shame I could not find anything more about the history of this place.
