Visited this one tonight with Bryag, having had a heads-up from Lost, cheers :thumb

It didn't look too promising from the outside, the mound had been stripped down and leveled :crazy

Though this did reveal the construction techniques somewhat:

It was fairly damaged round the hatch, bricks missing, you could see inside without opening it, never promising...

Out with the T-bar key, and we were in. Inside this was bit damp - around 2 inches of water throughout, and the pump wasn't for shifting it :(

Still, apart from that it was a wee gem, loads of good stuff, including the Tele-talk, and jerkins, waterproofs, duffel-coats and wellies - i was tempted to play dress-up

Clothing, and the Worlds fustiest dart-board:

    Stuff :

    ROC humour:

    First Aid Kit:

    And again:

    More stuff :) :

Great choice of reading - 3 Mills and Boons, 1 Stephen king, and 1 Charlie Brown :crazy

And the view up, as always :

This was a great wee post, loads still there which is surprising given how open and easy it is to find, right by the council estate. No chance of being stealthy at this one, as we were heading off, the Police appeared, for a nosey.

One of my personal favourites so far :thumb

    My offerings

No privacy at this post. Dog walkers galore, curtains twitching, and the strange shadowy figure in the woods, neither of us saw at the time:eek:

    Furry dart-board

Paddington Bear and friends were regular visitors, I believe:p

A little out of date, I fear. April 1958

Interesting reading material, AND Swarfega? It doesn't bear thinking about!
    CannichROC08.jpg

    Groovy triangulation calculator
    CannichROC09.jpg

Looks like there was a blast! They kept that one quiet!

    On reflection....

Water (Not petrol) jerry can. Date stamped 1962

Fuse board, cover hinged correctly here
    CannichROC13.jpg

Wire rack containing various utensils (and small splint)

    WC present and correct
    CannichROC15.jpg

Internal overview, note the depth of the water (And it was a little pongy down there too!)
    CannichROC01.jpg

All in all a very complete little post. Shame about the water, and the externals. :(
