A spin off to my April 2009 explore. In president to Odeon and BOCM, I am redoing all of my old explores, with a new camera and more urbex knowledge.

Visited with Liam, Chesham Hospital is still a great explore in my eyes. We kept hearing sounds, but they were from a gentleman on the roof who explained he was taking a plastic sheet, and didn’t mind us taking photos inside. He said he was too scared to go in. If he was ok with us, then that was fine; so in we went!

Closed down in 2004, this small cottage hospital was opened in 1866, and once was the most popular hospital in the area, treating the ill from miles around, and providing advice for the pregnant.

It’s the fifth year of closure!

    Opened: 1886
