    Visited with northcave. I wasn't too bothered about going back, having been several times before, but thought northcave should see it. A shot tower of this kind is a rare beast, and this one certainly has character. The steps are rusty, twisted, bent and wrecked. The climb to the top is an adventure in itself - I bet the workers were relieved when the lift was fitted.
