This is not a site I was aware of until reading Patweb's report from a couple of weeks ago; there is some duplication of his/her shots inevitably, but I hope you find them interesting nonetheless.

I'd like to refer you back to Patweb's report for a history of the fatory building, it has far more information than I could gather; I did, however, find this interesting article which contains some interesting history of the pavilion, and the Council's endeavors to preserve it.

To see all the photos large, and on black (looking their best), please check out the flickr set slideshow:

    Anyway; some shots:
    The Front:

The rear of the remaining buildings

A self portrait at the front door

    The managers office?

    The Hot Seat

    Barratt's Tea Room

The sports ground: I remember playing in a cup final hear 17 years ago

    The Scorer's Hut

The Pavilion, previously used b WG Grace and Australia

    The Groundsman's Roller

I'd welcome any comments on the photos, or experiences of the site.
