Had a look at this today.
A few phone calls got me access and permission to photograph this bunker.
It was built in 1984 and is located under an office block and accessed by an internal stairwell. It was originally built to withstand and nuclear and chemical attack and has most of the fittings still in place but the dormitory is now a storeroom.
It’s still used, as a control centre for emergencies and hold regular drills.
1.Down the stairs and through the two blast doors.

2.Looking back out to the stair well with the control room on the left and generator and filtration rooms on the right.

3.Generator room with huge green diesel tank.

    4.It’s a Lister!

5.Filtration room, note the small blast door on the right.

6.Main control room, the curtains are there to cover maps and hide the concrete walls, made the place more homely:crazy

7.Air conditioning ducts, on the whiteboard was the information for the last emergency drill they did, made interesting reading.

    8.Large map

9.One of the emergency exits, wouldn’t let me open it:(

    10.Loads of aerials

11.Communication room with CBs, telephone systems, etc.

The whole place is in great condition and its nice to see its still being used. I’ve got more photos if you’re interested.
