    Dinas Silica Mine in the Neath valley was used to mine silica for use in firebricks from 1880 to 1960.

    Visited with dangerousdave,

    We took in a small mine on the way and then straight on to the main site, thanks to Dave for showing a couple of tricks with the camera and sharing his knowledge of this place, was an awesome day.
