visited here today with friend and colleague Mr Miyagi.
this post is situated just outside the village approx 100 yards into a farmers field on a huge mound that you really cant fail to spot.
the post is open with the hatch and counterweight all missing, the louvres are pretty much intact just a shame the inside is not.
down the hatch and down the ladder which i can report is not loose as previously reported that it was.
inside the place is wet and standing water on the floor, the place is wrecked and vandalised with paint sprayed over the place.
there are a few items that still remain down there, these been; excellant mint timer switch still mounted on the wall, book shelf, cupboard, bed frame and also 2 chairs and pans although these are not original. water pump is still mounted on the wall as is a the warning sign which again is mint condition. the toilet area is a no go as it is filled with carpet and rubbish. shame the place is wrecked really.
anyway on to the next one.
    thanks for looking:popcorn

    it still works too
