    Edge House Farm

The one time dairy farm was sold on 7 years ago with the intention of knocking down the outbuildings to build a number of two storey homes. However, as the farm stands on National Trust property, the plans were rejected and the farm has been in steady decline ever since.

After seeing a rather 'overcooked' report from the place, I thought it was worth a look to see what the place really looked like without the 'colour-goggles' on, in honesty its not the most inspiring place, but it was a nice relaxed wander in the early spring sunshine for an hour or so (plus the cafe next to the pub does a lovely all-day breakfast with tea for a reasonable £5).
