So, I'm sat there in the car after some Battersea win with fellow explorers Nobby and Evilgenius and being on a high, we collectively decide we haven't had enough yet. We had this place set as a backup plan if we failed elsewhere and it's one I've been wanting to see for a while now so big props to GAJ on this one.

We slipped inside and were greeted with a magnificent display of Victorian brick archway porn. For something that's rarely seen by anyone, it's a thing of sheer beauty, the geometric shapes are a pleasure to feast your eyes on.

Decommissioned by the water board now through fears of a collapsing roof, this reservoir was built in the 1860's, it's name graces one of the walls in classic Victorian typeface. The reservoir is capable of holding up to 5 million gallons of water and it's sheer size leaves you in awe. I still amaze myself at some of the places I find myself in. Lighting this beast was tricky, it just seemed to absorb the glimmer from my P7 so I'll certainly be making a return visit armed with an arsenal of Lumens!
