We all packed up got in the car and drove to the next location, seeing this one was pretty easy we started with the Hopital postern.

I'd like to say a quick thanks to hoppymat for driving, and to his bird for Batteries and Assisting also both of you's for being my tunnel lighting bitches

so enough with the intro -

The Hospital postern is an underground staircase that led down to the ditch west of St Martins battery.
Outside at the bottom was a small drawbridge.
The postern gave access to a footpath that went to the now demolished Archcliffe Military Hospital.

    Any way enough yabbering; pictures!!
[excuse the photos, fuji commited suicide stuck with old point-and-shoot with (very) limited settings]

    Original entrance.

    the exit.

Poor volkswagon, there was atleast 5 more cars on the accent to the carpark.

These were nearby, anyone fill me in with a bit of info?
