    Evening all ,

this is the first hospital i have been into and its not at all what I expected. most of this place is rather stripped , although by the metal fairies or by contractors we weren't sure.
there are some nice bits though , and I thoroughly enjoyed myself in here.

once again a huge shout out to Voice , who drove me here and showed me round.

quick history : nicked off the net. Borrowed: In 1886 John North gifted £6,000 to open a convalescent home in memory of his daughter Ida. Chorley and Connon were the Architects, opened 10th May 1888. Robert Arthington financed a second hospital on adjacent site which opened May 1905, and took his name but was mostly referred to as ‘Cookridge’. Ida hospital is the two crescent shaped buildings. The hospital site closed in 2008 and has been left abandoned awaiting demolition ever since.

not my photo , off google , as my camera packed up outside.

me: what the fucking hell are these
voice : fucking creepy , thats what.

again , not the best pictures , so try to enjoy what there is
