Info - Hartlepool Outfalls Steetley / The Den - Oct 2013

    Working on the beach the other day, checked out the outfalls and both are still really secure.

    The Den (the northern most outfall) is fenced and gated.

    Steetley (the southern most outfall) is also fenced, gated, with storm flap and also now two concrete columns to take the sting out the flow. The mh's on the concrete pad look beefy too, the gattic types looking really solid too.

    On the plus side though, someone has put up a 'ladder' onto the isolated section of the pier. 'Ladder' looks ok, the pier looks a little shonky in places.
