Visited in april 2014 .. My first delve into Urbex after discovering quite local to myself ivy farm manor .. everyone knows the story just wanted to share my own experience if the house must have passed this house 100's of times in my car and never noticed it

Upon arrival greeted with a beautiful sandstone view .. must have driven past this house a hundred times and never noticed it its right on the main road

inside the main downstairs room .. most likely the living room a wide open fireplace

    and in the kitchen another

we entered through a side door as the front porch had collapsed as pictured here through the front doorway

down a dark corridor we found an old mattress ,, we had heard of someone living here years ago attempting to restore the building but must have given in long ago

this lead us to what was the library .. floor strewn with books and pages

and off from the library the swimming pool slowly being retaken by nature

slender man graffiti in the pool room

    back through the dark corridor

    and up the stairs

    an unexpected and breathtaking roof

the upstairs fireplace with a face in the back

the main bay window from upstairs

out to the rear garden the abandoned cars .. i later found out this is the remains of a Markos Mantis

and in the garage a humber super snipe (left) and a markos 1800Gt (Right)

sadly since we first visited vandals have struck as seen in Vertigo's thread .. and the humber which looked in great condition has had windows and headlights smashed out and the 1800gt next to is is gone completly .. this is my first post and am hoping you find it as interesting as i found ivy farm mannor to look around hoping to get more into exploring but a bit cautios of going alone to large sites for fear of something bad happening
