Looking through my Jersey photo's, I found some other sites I spotted while mooching around the island.
I don't think the site's are big enough to warrent seperate threads but just thought i'd share them with you guys, enjoy.

    St Owens Bay

This place is loaded with concrete, if we were going to take the island back this would have been the obvious beach for a landing.

It has numerous bunkers this one is now used to store kayaks.

I could have spent a whole day here looking around but sadly time was against me.

    Pelmont Bunker
Think this was an earlier defence which the Germans added to.

    La Hougue Boete Bunker
This was a command bunker which now houses a memorial to the prisoners that died building these places.

Theres lots of stuff like this on the island.

Even Gorey Castle was not safe, they built lookouts on top of the towers.

Would well recommend a visit and will be going back:thumb
