I got the heads up about this place by Dakota_79, his description being, "a massive caged hole with security fence, i chucked a stone over and it took an age to fall into water".
Sounds good enough to be explored. After a dodgey swing on the railings above the river, i could see it was a massive storm drain. Dakota_79 found this place as a kid, but i thought id document it anyway.
I could see no way into this place tho.. security fence which wasnt to be messed with all the way around, and razor wire on top, someone didnt want me to get in.
I found the entrance, the main gate, which was padlocked, but the sliding bar, only just hooked on the fence part, meaning with a bit of trying it could be opened.
I found an old steel fence stake, and actually lifted the gate up allowing the gate to swing open, no damage caused.

Seeing the red sign i wasnt ready for the size of this thing!

This shows the type of fence, i dont think i was meant to be down here :D

Looking up from the ground. Im 6"2 ish height wise, and i reckon that ledge you can see is about 9ft high. So i guess a good 30ft+ drop. Wasnt exspecting this!
What i think is a settlement area.

    Plants growing through the concrete.

and a last look over the edge, before re-securing the gate to its locked position.

    Thanks for looking.
