Visited With Dweeb, Thanks to the 'North Thames Urbex Gang' (or whatever they are calling themselves nowadays :laugh)

Surreal is probably the best word to describe this place. Im not a novice to underground relics of the cold war but we kept turning corners and it just felt strange. Some parts are what i expected, not much different to when it was a deep shelter just with a few more bits of plant, some bits however are just like some kind of underground 70s office block with crazy fake window scenes and false doors to nothing.. My only regret is not staying a few more hours to get more photos. There was plenty here i didnt get a chance to shoot. Disused shafts, crazy tunnels darting off in funny directions and funny levels. Even the empty cavenous tunnels added when the site was original converted to an exchange were pretty impressive as far as big underground spaces go. Still another life long dream realised so whos to complain!
