I'm hoping to do my first explore, and am particularly interested in libraries. Does anyone know of any in London or the Home Counties? Preferably old, massive Carnegie libraries, rather than dinky little spend-five-minutes-looking-around-and-get-bored.

The only closed Carnegie library I know of anywhere in London is Erith. It's partly occupied by a race equality organisation. If you contact Film Fixer, they might give you a tour ;). Some 2,500 Carnegie libraries were built worldwide, and thankfully an astonishing number still survive today.
