Today we went for a look at the closed down parts of the Lincoln County Hospital. Click here to see a map of the hospital.

The majority of the hospital is still in use leaving 3 large building open for explore. Access looked tricky at first but turned out to be quite easy after a little more snooping by Mr Green.

# Front view of main building.

# Corridor leading to wards which are being renovated.

# The rather spectacular spiral staircase.

# Oxygen, Nitrous oxide and Vacuum tubes.

# Disconnected Emergency button in a ward.

# A random machine just dumped in a corner.

# Lighting from a modern operating theater.

# Broken beds litter the ground floor corridors.

# The in-use part of the hospital is very close to here.

# A very old doctors checkup bed.

# The sky/wall windows illuminate one of the older operating theatres.

# A sterilising machine with a high pressure door found near an old operating theatre.

# Floor lights found near an old operating theater.

# The walls need a lick of paint.

# More lights found in a newer operating theater.

# Rather simple looking manual for an x-ray machine.

# Abandoned x-ray machine.
