Another day another derelict powerstation to bust! Had my eye on this place for a little while so as we were passing through the area, myself and dweeb stopped off for a quick look.

The station was used to power Brunner Mond's Lostock Works and athough it is decomissioned it is still part of a live site with steam rising up through grates in the floor and stuff buzzing away. There are currently plans to demolish it and replace it with a waste burning incinerator/ 'eco' powerplant which, judging by the signs in peoples gardens, is getting quite a bit of oppersition!

Another great find this year, two awsome turbines, another mint boiler house.... athough of course all the epic powerstations are in belgium. :wanker
