    The Medlock rises at Strinesdale,
    the culverts start at Etihad Stadium
    and finish at Potato Wharf
    length of about 4 miles.
    The Medlock then continues, merging with the Irwell at Hume Locks.

    You've done well with big Humpty, and Medlock culvert..that twin bore concrete part is U-missed, and if you follow it along a bit you come to Hulme Flumes Little Brother..full of brick porn :)

    Top effort, some of the old stuff down there is well worth a look, I've been down a fair few times and never tire of seeing this lot :thumb

    Nice one mate, Pics are bob on, I know you battled with the elements a lot, along the way. :thumb The rocks before Humpty and the shit that's washed through (and been left there) are a fucking disgrace. Environ-mental. They gave up breaking up the concrete, from under the bricks, in the end. Why can't they just leave things be. :(

    A few metres after exiting UMIST it becomes crown jewels for a short distance :D

    got shouted at by some waterside residents for scaring some broody geese just after Umist as we were trying to avoid the deep bits...chest deep at hflb though :eek:
