Is there a brook in the whole of the UK that manages to pass through a population centre and stay clean?

I'd say any major urban centre would have brooks/rivers with sewer overflow pollution or just general storm water detritus. I'd wager London is much worse than Manchester. ISTR the newer places like Milton Keynes, with more modern and seperated systems will be better off I'd say.
