I'm sure that most of you have dabbled with light painting or night photography in the past, so get some posted up! I'll bung a few of mine on below:

I am probably going to sound like a total noob here, but WTF, may as well as other people knowledge is priceless, so here goes...

What is happening in J4M35_UK's 2nd shot and also flip's last shot, what did you use to create that effect?

    Cheers

I was thinking that tbh, but thought i may be well off-track - seemed better to ask rather than wonder.

Cheers for the confirmation though :)

It's a bit more robust than sparklers ;)

Do you know the wire wool you use for cleaning paint and stuff? Well you get a ball of fine grade wire wool, tie it to a chain and tap it all over with the terminals of a 9V square battery. Then swing it around like a madman. Be careful not to touch it as molten iron is HOT!

No worries, it's worth a play even if you don't take any photos of it, it's just like being a gigantic firework!

I dont think i will be practising it any time soon (max 8 seconds on my camera :( )

I know there is talk of stacking, but i think i will leave that sort of photography until i have a slightly improved camera, but still like looking at these sorts of shots and getting the 'behind the scenes' idea of how they are done.
