    A grey day and an afternoon tide. A walk by the chanel seemed a good idea. It is hardly an explore and I can't offer any history but where else will you see a pillbox standing on it's head?



    The block in the mist on the right is the controll tower of Walney airfield from the same era.
    The last one did not quite manage a handstand.
