    Visited with Pirate & a non member, cheers to tommo for the map and chris for some intel :thumb

    What a find this place was! Chilmark is the most picturesque village you could think of, and as you pass the postman pat like surroundings and start seeing signs for Chilmark Stone, country lanes flanked by barbed wire fences, and narrow gauge railway crossings, you know some MOD Business has been going down!

    The lack of pillars in the quarry workings is down to the quality of stone
