    Hi all,

First report on here, so be nice :)

Link to Wiki about the site: RAF Daws Hill - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Had a walk around the night before but decided to go back during the day. The main site has been approved for demolition and contractors have been in marking everything up. Most buildings are now secure but the occasional lazy worker leaving the odd door open helped alot :)

I was joined by Mr P and Mr A.

(Apologies on picture quality as did have my camera but decided not to work, thank god for smartphones :) )

    The ISS service yard:

    Fuel storage (and ducks):

    One of the classrooms:

No idea what this was but i thought i'd add to it:

UK and US plugs in all classrooms:

Mr A insisted on going in the loft space only to find absolutely nothing:

Everyone loves a bit of Reproduction ;) :

    The main accommodation blocks:

After our 4 hour walk around of the site, we decided to go have a look at the bunker. As it is now a protected site (1411070 - The National Heritage List for England | English Heritage) alot of work is being carried out. New electrics and CCTV being fitted. As it is technically part of the school nearby all images go straight to them. The CCTV cameras were following us but we were there for well over an hour and no one came. The bunker itself is now secure, so no going inside :(. But still a very interesting site!

    Entrance from the main site:

Both sites are very doable. Nothing has been knocked down as such, alot of asbestos clearance but as far as i can find, no planning permision. bunker is being refurbished so lots of new bits being put in.
