Report - RAF Millom Practice Bombing Range, Silecroft 01/06/07

    RAF Millom had two practice bombing ranges one to the south in the Duddon estuary of a platform type.

    The second range featured here was to the north and was a floating raft type, so while we were in the area we paid it a visit.

    After the war the site was used to house German POW's working on local farms.
