The part of RAF Sealand to the east of the A494 (the main domestic site) is now MOD Sealand and is used by the Electronics Business Unit of the Defence Support Group for the repair and maintenance of Avionic equipment so is still occupied. The airfield site to the west of the A494 has been demolished.

    See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MoD_Sealand#Current_use for more information.

Also be aware that MoD Sealand's ranges are still in use, so beware when red flags are flying.

Driving past, most of the domestic site looks unused. There is a UNITER there, not sure if that's still in use though. The ranges are quite a distance from the main Sealand site.

The dormitory blocks the larger buildings appear to have had the doors boarded over, also the on site security have a frequent walk around and need to touch in at various points around the base.

The Uniter bunker is at the side of the fence near the cycle track heading away from the blue dragon bridge the one with the cycle track on, it will hopefully be well secured it was built to withstand bomb attacks.

Its an ideal location for a small dormitory type hotel, small office or buisiness units. Its such a waste of some great older strong buildings.
