    River Dean Culvert - Bollington

The town of Bollington rose from a small agricultural back-water in the Macclesfield forest
to play an important role in the production of cotton, utilising it's rivers and streams to
    power the cotton mills.
This section of the river Dean is at the far end of Bollington recreation grounds, and runs
for about 200 metres under the main road and canal, before re-appearing upstream by
    some rather picturesque cottages

Heading upstream under the footbridge, the river levels are still low, so it's easy going

The brickwork has a really nice blue tinge to it

Not the most exciting explore, but a nice wander none-the-less

    Cheers for looking
