Or more to the point ( whats left of it now the bulldozers have started )

Visited with MSP and his 9 year old explorer son Ellis.

We got a couple of hours in before being spotted by the security guy, He was not at all happy with us at first. but after a little chat he calmed down.

The former Rossendale Hospital is a beautiful building built from local stone. The historic frontage of the former hospital is a local landmark and is both culturally and historically significant.

The building was originally erected as a “poor houseâ€￾ or “work houseâ€￾. There is some interesting information about the building and its former inhabitants.

    On with the pic's

    A very beautiful main exterior.

We didn't have to sign in.

    Plenty of decay to see.

My first thoughts when I saw this, WOW

    I do love lonely chairs.

    And last, young Ellis.

    Thanks for looking Telf.
