Report - Royal Mail sorting office, Northampton - August 2012

    After 2 fails this morning I was at a loose end by lunchtime, then I saw Killrob’s report and headed off to Northampton for a daytime look. Cheers Killrob. :thumb

    Brief history stolen from the same report - Built in the 1970's the Northampton Sorting offices have been empty since a fire in 2003. Planning permission has been granted for a supermarket so it's due to be demolished.

    It’s a big place and as far as I saw it was cleared of all the day to day stuff by the Royal Mail with “justâ€￾ the fixed machinery left behind.
