    I saw King Mongoose's report on this and thought I'd have a look.

    It’s an air raid shelter for a hosiery factory. I couldn’t find much info on the place either.

    In 1965 Samson Smith Ltd made a planning application to build an extension “for manufacture of knitwearâ€￾. At the time they also had premises at Trinity St Loughborough.

    The company subsequently became or were taken over by Meritina Ltd and then were taken over by Mansfield Hosiery Mills Ltd. Searching for that just came up with lots about a current cricket team.

    If I find anything else I’ll add it.
