Not much of a secret but I wonder if anyone knows what remains of the siding under snow hill that lead from the station to the bank:
Apparently, its been bricked up but I have seen small holes appearing in these brick walls... lol.

funnily enough i was only having a discussion about this with the engineer a couple of weeks ago, i remember walking through the tunnel that lead from snow hill to moor st just before it reopened. Might be a good enough reason to go into the city centre for a nose about.

From what I remember the tunnel was wider at the Snow Hill end allowing a short siding which main purpose was to service the vaults at the Birmingham Bank of England Branch and a stables was located in it to draw the single waggon up & down it. A Bullion carriage used to be attached to the rear of passenger trains to/from London at Snow Hill Station and horse drawn into and out of the siding.
