Having day treatment every day at my local hospital...
it was only right to spend weekend at one too :D
So had a trip to see St George's.

    Grade II listed..
Opened in 1818 to hold 120 patients.
1879 saw a new wing built for another 90 patients.
1884 saw another expansion to the site, including workshops and a bakery.
Eventually it held around 870 patients
    The site closed mid 90's.

Some areas have been demolished already ready for the new housing development.
