Stephenson Bros originally manufactured soap based agents for the processing of wool. In Kelly's Bradford Postal Directory of 1927 the building is listed as the business premises of Messrs Stephenson Brothers Ltd Dry Salters.

Some rotten and spongy floors here. Visited with three non-members.

Yeah that's not bad for Bradford !

Looks like there's actually a lot to see in the detail - paperwork, samples etc.

Nicely covered, I recall being fairly revolted by the human faeces smeared room here...

Always nice to see this place you seem to have covered it very well. The room with the paperwork in has deteriorated badly over the years.

There looks to be less roof than I remember.

Took the words out of my mouth!

I saw that too, pretty grim! At least there were no discarded needles around this place though.

Yeah, I looked back at some older reports and it's definitely looking worse for wear now.

It made a change from the usual needle filled dives. Lots of interesting papers and reports in them cabinets.

You'll be glad you did but while it was grim it was quite the spectacle!
