This cement plant was founded in 1926 and is located along the Meuse. In July 2018 commercial limestone mining ceased and cement production ended permanently in August 2020.

The factory was one of the largest in the region. The supply of raw material was provided by a nearby mine. Production peaked in the 1970s. Depleted after almost 100 years, the deposits and the outdated technology used here resulted in the decision to shut down the factory. Full Set
