Visited back in 2011 back before it was an Instagram influencer dream! This is a cut down version of the one found on our website detailed our three days in the zone; I think we were one of the first groups to spend more that the allotted 4 hours in the zone, infact we spent close to 72 hours...

On April 26 1986 the most serious accident in the history of nuclear industry occurred at reactor 4 of the Chernobyl power plant. The city of Pripyat and the surrounding towns and villages were all evacuated, The people could only take necessary items as they were supposed to return in 3 days...
