Nobody on 28DL seems to have covered it before, so I thought the other night I would go take a look at The Bonding Warehouse on the river front down near Cliffords Tower in York.

The building itself was used as a bar and entertainment venue until it was heavily damaged by the flooding of the river Ouse in 2000. It was purchased in 2007 for over a million pounds, with the intention of being refurbished and re-opening as a restaurant in a little over 2 years.

What is clear is that this has not happened. The building has hosted several raves and a York Peace Collective sit-in (fucking hippies).

Anyway, I went down for a recce but cellar access was too easy not to go in... Unfortunately as you'll see they have bricked up the stairs from the cellar (below water level and very damp) to the main building, so the full explore was not to be tonight, but I liked the cellar, some nice decay. Full explore coming soon with any luck.

    End of the line...for now.
