    My first post !

Built in the late 1960's this is one of many unused underground reservoirs in Bolton, approx 50 x 50 metres, 6 metres ish in height, with an echo to die for. Down the ladder the and the darkness fell. We had taken 15 lights and boy did we need them.

This reservoir has never been used and is dry except for a few mm of water next to the water outlet pipe

Thanks for looking and thanks to the guiding hand of the mod with the Flickr links, more pics on my Flickr if you care to look
