This is an extremely attractive 1960s medium rise, part of which is currently tenanted by the Saint Georges Hotel, the remaining part of which I shall file under 'not sure'.

As for the hotel part, I've never seen such an extravagant and no-expense-spared affair. The decor is exquisite*. In addition, security measures were up there with the latest, by today's standards, and getting onto the roof itself was an exercise in sheer bloody determination, ingenuity and Mission-Impossible style antics.

The spire in the shot below belongs to John Nash's All Saints Church, and very nice it is too. Back down at street level there was a bloke pressure-washing the steps clean, and there's a job I want - instant and tangible results, plus the added advantage of 'accidentally' spraying slow people. What more could you want?
