This is my first post on the forum (and first urbex trip) so please bare with me if I make some mistakes.
I have no idea about the history of the building, sorry!

Entering the place was quite difficult, the flats and large open courtyard were surrounded by high wooden fences and a site gate, with cameras covering the whole courtyard. As me and my friend started to poke around the main entrance we were warned by a resident across the street that they had seen people get caught before and police showed up very quickly.
I wont reveal how we got in but it was not through the front gate or over the fence.

Inside it has 6 floors, the top 4 were essentially identical. Some pictures:

The bottom most floors were sub-terranean:

Unfortunately we could not gain access to the roof as it was padlocked, I will definitely be returning with a way to get up there.
Super fun and relatively easy to get in, if you decide to go take a mask for the basement.

Hi, thanks for posting. Be much better if youโ€™re able to get to the roof, so have approved it but see if you can get to the roof and then add the pics! They can be added to the main report if you let us know. Can you add a date of visit to the title - maybe see if you can find a bit more info or at least the former name of the flats

Brighton, you say ๐Ÿ˜Ž Right about now...

Welcome along,

However,

Please put some effort in for history, you say you couldn't find anything?
I image searched your first picture and got all the history in seconds,

Its also worth noting that youve been lucky to have this allowed (on the basis you get dome roof shots) unless its really of special interest such a building would be considered featureless and not worth a report and instead a pic of two stuck in the photo thread. Residential buildings are also frowned upon unless, again, of importance.

As I say, welcome along but have a look around to see what others are posting, what they photograph abd what they visit.
