Hi All,
Today (26/08/2020) I made a revisit to the Abandoned Horse & Groom Pub on the A505 going towards Royston and I was on my own I was also only in there for 45 minutes but I was lucky to be on my own in there as wolves and homeless people have been found in there before and this is a hotspot for vandalism and photography. Within the space of two months from my last visit this place has been more vandalised than before and more graffitied by the time I left today a second car had pulled up which I assumed they were photographers, anyway here’s some photos from today I hope you guys enjoy:)

Personally, for such a obliterated place, I wouldn’t advise uploading another report if one at all.

To generally make this a report, I wouldn’t include the specific date, just a month and year. You’d also need a location more than just the A505, and it needs some history to wrap it up.

Have a read of this guide to help you posting a report for next time:

Nevertheless, good on you for getting out and getting some pictures.

Looking to go here myself, where did you pull up and park? I looked on Google Maps and the entrance to the car park is overgrown and gated

Hiya,
There’s a left turn on the A505 which goes into the abandoned pub. Yes it is blocked off but that’s where you park on the left turn before actually going into what once was the car park. When you get out your car walk towards the abandoned pub and climb over a small wall which will then take you inside the building, there is no doors or windows so it is easy access, just be careful of the upstairs as there’s no floor up there anymore the stairwell is still there but I mainly stayed on the ground floor and underground basement under the bar area.

Hope this helps:)

I was told that homeless people have been in the building regularly before and apparently wolves I didn’t believe that myself even out of the two visits myself there I haven’t come across one so it’s probably just rumours
