This amazing palace was built in Bratoszewice between 1921-1922 for Kazimierz Rzewuski a Polish politicians. It was designed by Julius Nagórski, a well known architect from Warsaw. The complex was finally finished in 1927. The palace was mostly used as a summer residence for Rzewuskis family. After the Second World War With during the new socialist reality, the residence was nationalized in 1945. Palace itself was converted into an agricultural school, and after 1969, also offices, boarding school and housing for employees of the school were located within the palace complex. In 1985 the palace was destroyed by fire. Local council attempted some repairs, which was discontinued due to financial problems. Palace now stands empty and abandoned, slowly deteriorating. Agricultural school still occupies nearby buildings. Rzewuski Palace is an example of french renaissance style in architecture.
