Agricultural Research Centre
So, One Flew East and myself went to visit a great site in the heart of the Kent countryside. This was a research centre for soil, crops/plantlife, pesticides and insects. You've probably drank beer that in some way was related to this place.
1: ADAS Research Centre
One Flew East has posted some history on his report, so I won't recap or add to it here - you can find his report here:

Onto the pics - as ever, you can see the full set on Flickr at:

We had a nice relaxed explore on a beautiful day. Was just like being back in the science block at school. Except, er, with no homework. Or kids. Or teachers... ok, it wasn't at all like being back at school. But it *was* sciencey. And due no doubt to it's "out-of-the-way-ness", was nicely unchavved (though of course not unpikey-ed).
The Pics
I've tried to show some different things to OFE's report for a different perspective.
2:
3: Of course, all signs were followed with the appropriate concern
4: Yep, it's got Corridors!
5: Lots and lots of laboratories
6:
7:
8: Sexy - anyone into bedding plants?
9: Hmm, this looks tasty!
10: Stop aliens colonizing Britain
11:
12:
13: The kitchen was closed, unfortunately. I quite fancied an Explorer Burger
14: Tasty Decor in the canteen. Felicity Kendall would be proud...
15:
16: The business/admin bit was altogether more posh
17: Reception staircase
18: Doctor Who would be escaping from the mutant alien triffids by running down *this* corridor. Guaranteed.
19:
20:
21:
22: Dartboard, record player, crate of beer. Good times!
23: This was only about ten years old...
24: Although some stuff in the beer cupboard dated back to the 80's!
25: Also, a rare collection of vintage erotica...
Thanks to the One that Drove West
