28DL and UE in the News Advice needed!

hello all, lurker/very occasional poster after a bit of cheeky advice!

Not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this, but we'll give it a bash, feel free to move/delete/whatever

I've been asked to do a talk on UE at work and the local paper has taken up the story and wants to promote the talk and also Exploring...however I'm struggling to right a synopsis that highlights the positives of splorin' without also mentioning the risk, and I'm also very aware, I don't want to write something that encourages some youths to go playing in the derps and then hurt themselves or get in trouble.

you can probably tell by that paragraph alone, I'm not very good at literacy either!

Has anyone ever written a piece for a paper/website describing exploring and what angle did you take on it or does anyone have any advice?

the only advice I can give is please please please don't call it 'sploring'. Or 'urbex'.

Woo do you work for? What's their interest? Who is your audience? What age group?

Personally, I wouldn't do it. I turn these things down twice a week.
